About Us
Rob Devens is presently working as a consultant helping churches design and implement a Christian spiritual growth strategy for adults (his webpage is growthclass.org). He also writes a blog reviewing Christian books and adult spiritual growth curriculum, Books and Curriculum. For a long time he was the associate pastor of Adult Spiritual Instruction at First Evangelical Free Church—and after he left he continued to direct that ministry from a distance (for two and a half years). He and his wife, Claudia, live in southern Oregon, have three daughters (Sara, Audra, and Laura) and four grandchildren—so far. Rob is originally from California (which may explain a lot) and has a Master of Christian Studies degree from New College for Advanced Christian Studies in Berkeley and a Master of Divinity from Mennonite Brethren Biblical Seminary in Fresno. Before becoming a pastor he worked in a number of art galleries and frame shops—and even spent a short time as a student at California College of Arts and Crafts. He enjoys art, writing, fly fishing, and spending time with his family.
Jeremy Schoonover is the network administrator at Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau School District. He and his wife, Jessica, have three precious children (Sophie, Samuel, and Elyse). Jeremy is from Westby, Wisconsin, and graduated from the University of Wisconsin at La Crosse. He enjoys spending time with his family, reading theology books, and playing with CSS code.
